Trademark Registration Certificates
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is not issuing electronic Trademark Registration Certificates for all trademarks being issued after May 24th.
This transition is to allow certificates more readily accessible rather than a paper certificate as well as decrease the time to get your certificate since you can now access your certificate online.
Your Trademark Registration Certificates will now come with a digital seal, which serves to authenticate your registration.
You can access your certificate at Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) system. The USPTO will allow you to view, download and print a complete copy of your registration certificate for free at any time.
Ways to get your Certificates
Don’t worry if you still want that fancy certificate, presentation copy, you can still order one for $25 at Order Trademark Presentation Copy of Registration Certificate form in TEAS if filed after May 24, 2022. If filed before May 24, 2022 you will still receive your certificate for free.
If you just want a copy of your Trademark Registration Certificates then you can request a copy for $15, visit the USPTO Certified Copy Center.
Please feel free to reach out to one of our trademark attorneys with any questions.
